Why Integrate Clickfunnels Into WordPress?
There two main reasons why most people are looking to integrate their clickfunnels landing/sales pages into their WordPress websites.
1. Not enough technical knowledge to add a custom domain into clickfunnels/or don’t know that you can add a custom domain into your click funnels account.
A lot of people don’t know that you can buy a domain and add it to your clickfunnels account so when someone visits your website they will see your landing/sales page.
This is great if you don’t want to pay for web hosting or run a website.
If you didn’t know this was possible and would like to use this method instead I have created two step by step guides which will show you how to set everything up.
2. Wanting to use your website as a blog/e-commerce platform while being able to use clickfunnels on your website so the URL’s are the same.
This is the most common reason why people decide to use clickfunnels inside their WordPress website, most people don’t want or have time to transfer all their articles over to clickfunnels.
By integrating clickfunnels into WordPress you can achieve the same outcome that you would get if you added your custom domain into clickfunnels which is your domain name in front of your funnel page URL.
Having your custom domain instead of the ugly clickfunnels URL will help you build a brand and trust with your user base.
E.g. URL: www.yourdomain.com/myfunnel
What Do You Need To Integrate Clickfunnels?
To follow along with this tutorial you will need a live WordPress website that you have admin permissions for (we need to add a plugin) and a clickfunnels account.

Installing And Activating Clickfunnels Plugin
We are now ready to install and activate the clickfunnels plugin.
Please login to your WordPress site and from the right-hand side menu click “Plugins” > “Add New”
Now we need to search the plugin marketplace for the clickfunnels plugin, on the right-hand side you will a search bar enter “clickfunnels” and press ENTER (without the quotes).
Once you locate the plugin that matches the image above (there should only be 2-3 results) click “Install Now”, this will install the plugin.
Once the installation has been successful the plugin will then ask you to activate the plugin.
Click “Activate”, once the plugin has been activated that is all we need to do in regards to installing and activating the clickfunnels plugin.
How To Find Your API Key
This is the part where most people start to panic when they see “API”, clickfunnels have made this plugin really well which means ALL that you need to do is copy and paste the API code from your clickfunnels account.
The first thing you will need to do is log in to your clickfunnels account and hover over menu icon in the top right corner (this will be your photo if you have one).
When you hover over the menu you will see a large drop menu, select “Account Details”, this is where we will find our API key.
At the bottom of the accounts details page, you will now see an option for WordPress API, to the right of this, you will see an “Expand” button.
Click the expand button to revile your API key, copy the API key as you will need this in a minute.

Configuring Clickfunnels WordPress Plugin
We now need to log back into our WordPress website and configure the clickfunnels plugin, we will start by adding our API credentials.
From the right-hand side menu click “Clickfunnels” > “Settings”.
we will be asked to enter our API details, once you have entered your clickfunnels account email address and API key click “Save Settings”.
We need to check that our API details have been accepted and our website is compatible with the plugin.
If the plugin finds any issues with your website settings you may need to contact your hosting provider.
On the left-hand side of the API connection details click “Compatibility Check”.
If your details and website settings have been accepted you will see a green tick next to each check.
If any checks have failed you can email the clickfunnels support or your hosting provider to find a solution.
Assuming that you’re seeing a list of successful checks we need to change one more setting before we can display our clickfunnels pages inside our website, from the left-hand side menu click “General Settings”.
We need to change the “Page Display Method:” to “Embed Full Page iFrame”, this is the setting I use but you may have slightly different needs so you can play around with this setting till you get the desired look you’re going for.
Click “Save Settings”.
We are now ready to add our click funnels pages into our website.
How To Add Your Sales Funnel And Set Custom URL
Adding a new page is really simple and can be done is less than 30 seconds, to add a new clickfunnels page to your website you must have the funnel live and active within your click funnels account.
From the left-hand side menu select “Clickfunnels” > “Add New”.
1. Select the page type you require, “Regular Page” is the default here.
2. Select the funnel you wish to use
3. Select the funnel step you wish to display
4. Enter the custom URL you want to use E.g. click-bank-funnel (you will notice under step 4 that it displays to you the custom URL for this funnel step)
Once you have selected and entered all the required details press “Save Page”.
You can now check this new page by visiting the URL that you entered in step 4.
If you can’t remember the URL you entered, select “Clickfunnels” > “Pages” from the right-hand side menu.
You will now see a list of all your pages, click the “View Page” link next to the page you want to preview.
